"Most important lessons in life are usually learned the hard way and you never forget those lessons"

Dear visitor,

Do you happen to be a professional or overschooled? Perhaps lacking that safety net called 'family'? Your friends and acquaintances think that everything is going great for you, or at least well, so they never bother to ask? Still, deep inside yourself you feel that something in your life is completely wrong, but you never have the courage to voice it out. Maybe you would describe it as unfulfillment or deep frustration or sorrow. Check out these links and maybe you are going to get a hint for a potential answer!

I am a very passionate and committed person and very determinate in the pursuit of my goals. My personal power stems from a strong sense of oneself; I have never seeked "group identity" in order to fill in the existential void that we all encounter in life at certain times.

Something I wish someone had taught me during 12+9 years of schooling is SELF-RESPECT. Self-respect is not about what money you have, what clothes you wear, what car you drive, what house you owe or live in, or having others do things for you. Self-respect is about knowing what one's personal boundaries are and saying "STOP/STAY AWAY" to all those petty people that derive satisfaction and a sense of self-worth from putting down, belittling and abusing other people. The world is just full with people like that and the typical targets are women and children. And sometimes our closest ones are in fact our biggest enemy.

I definitely learned the very hard way what SELF-RESPECT is.
